Meet the Team.

Gather on Burdett was born of shared philosophy: healing happens best in community.

Gather on Burdett is a living, evolving community of wellness providers—therapists, bodyworkers, naturopaths, and more—who believe in the power of integrated, inclusive, and heart-centered care.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, working through physical tension, healing from trauma, supporting your body’s natural rhythms, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself — you'll find practitioners here who walk alongside you with care, skill, and integrity.

  • Maybe you try super hard but it’s like spinning your wheels in the mud - you’re not getting where you want despite the effort; You have goals, but mysteriously, you also do things that undermine your progress. Maybe the world is - or has been - a very uncomfortable place for you. Perhaps you feel anxious or panicked despite no present threat; Your emotions or reactions don’t really match what’s happening in the here-and-now; You oscillate between hurting and numb; You live with chronic hormone issues, GI troubles, unexplained pain, illness, fatigue, or burnout? Maybe it’s all just a lot, right?

But you're not alone. While we can’t change the past, we can profoundly shift how we relate to it, and we can recover your natural vitality. Together, we bring healing experiences to the parts of you that are suffering, inviting your inner world into a greater state of ease and harmony.

Annice deChamplain
M.Ed, RCC, CHN

  • As a counsellor, I aim to start from a place of humility and center you as the expert and as being capable of whatever transformation you seek. I believe that my role as a counsellor is to offer a non-judgemental space that offers empathy, respect and dignity, in which I act as your co-conspirator who comes alongside you in whatever journey you are on. With unconditional positive regard, my goal as a counsellor is to support and resource you with what you feel you need. The result is an integrative and client tailored approach that pulls from multiple theories and modalities to create a process that’s as unique as you.

  • My integrative approach blends neuroscience, somatic practices, nutrition and psychotherapy. I use a multimodal approach and pull from Narrative, ACT, EMDR and somatic psychology. I aim to help folks cultivate compassionate self-awareness and curiosity, while developing skills that empower them to realize the transformation they seek.

  • As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Certified Holistic Nutritionist (CHN), I specialize in the bidirectional influence of our mental and physical health on wellbeing. I help folks understand and partner with their nervous systems and bodies, so that they can gain freedom from the past, patterns and perspectives that are holding them back. I work with teens (15+) and adults who are navigating anxiety, adhd, burnout, trauma + perinatal mental health.

Taylor Evans-Kawchuk MA, RCC

  • I believe there is always more than meets the eye and regardless of what you’ve experienced, you make sense. Beneath our stories lives an entire tapestry of embodied experience—how we’re shaped by past and present relationships, societal pressures and expectations, the impact of trauma and stress on our nervous system, and so much more.

  • I take a relational, body-centred approach in my counselling practice. My work is grounded in experiential somatic therapies—including AEDP and EMDR—as well as my passion for mindfulness and parts work.

  • I work well with individuals seeking support processing challenging childhoods, relationships, and past experiences.

Amanda Lunny MC RCC

  • Hi, I’m Amanda, a therapist who takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy. I believe that a strong, warm, and transparent relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to explore their stories and move toward growth.

  • I tailor my work to each individual, drawing from modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. I am person-centred at heart and believe therapy works best when it’s a partnership built on authenticity and trust.

  • My primary focus and specialization is in eating disorders. During my practicum year, I worked extensively with clients navigating eating disorders and body image concerns, and I continue to find this work deeply meaningful. Beyond this specialization, I have experience supporting clients with a range of concerns including anxiety, OCD, depression, relationship and attachment issues, substance use, and sexual health. I value working with a diverse clientele and strive to create an inclusive and affirming space for everyone.

In addition to individual therapy, I welcome couples into my practice. My work with couples integrates the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen connection, improve communication, and foster deeper understanding.
